As a Product Portfolio Operations Manager in Consumer Bank you are a foundational member of a team responsible for implementing connectivity strategies across the product space while being directly responsible for creating structures that enhance coordination in our product line.
You will work with us to ensure our agile product investments and roadmaps align with our strategic objectives driving positive business and customer benefits. Together we will mobilize product teams to deliver largescale initiatives advance our agile product delivery strategy and facilitate better business and product outcomes through continuous improvement.
Job responsibilities
- Establishes a partner communication framework that keeps product technology design data organizations abreast of priorities status and changes
- Partners closely with Consumer Bank Product Owners Technology Leads Design Leads and Data Owners to manage product portfolio priorities capacity dependencies risks and performance metrics
- Oversees Consumer Bank Product priorities key initiative status capacity plans cosupplier dependencies risks and performance metrics
- Develops 6quarter portfolio roadmap to improve planning measure progress and enable investment tradeoff decisions
- Leads annual budget and capacity planning process for Consumer Bank Products in partnership with finance; track actuals to plan
- Facilitates adoption of best practices and develop new tools and operating models to continuously improve the planning and prioritization processes
- Prepares senior management updates and presentations
- Works across products to help ensure delivery against business objectives while coordinating reporting and communications plans for portfolio management operations and change initiatives
- Enables operational efficiency by supporting training maturation needs assessments and continuous improvement practices
- Drives adaptation and modification of our productline framework to ensure crossproduct priorities sequencing and tradeoffs are realized
- Implements a productlevel collection strategy consisting of controls financials and resourcing needs
Required qualifications capabilities and skills
- 5 years of experience or equivalent expertise in program management or performance optimization
- Proven ability to manage and implement operational effectiveness initiatives
- Proven ability to operate within the product development life cycle and agile methodologies
- Proficient in agile product development methodology.
- Proven experience delivering timely highquality executive communications presentations and reporting. Attention to detail is a must with continuous focus on design excellence.
- Demonstrated ability in dealing with different stakeholder groups and driving the agenda.
- Excellent relationshipbuilding skills with ability to establish trust and lead by influence.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and implement change in a fast paced complex environment.
- Advanced level ability expected in all Microsoft Office tools (Excel PowerPoint Teams) Confluence and Jira.
- Selfmotivated tenacious and able to work with high degree of independence.
