Job Description
Banyan Search is assisting a growing company in their search for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will be a strategic and resultsoriented finance professional who will oversee all accounting and financial reporting for the organization. Additional duties will include financial planning budgeting and forecasting. This role will be a key member of the management team reporting directly to the President.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the monthly financial close process in NetSuite (NS) ensuring accurate GAAPcompliant reporting.
- Oversee cash management collections disbursements.
- Lead budgeting forecasting and financial analysis efforts.
- Oversee inventory and fixed assets.
- Assist with annual audits and tax filings.
- Drive automation initiatives and enhance productivity within the finance function.
- Supervise and provide guidance to the accounting department team.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to executive management.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 5 years of experience in accounting/finance preferably in retail or manufacturing.
- Experience with NetSuite (NS) and Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organizational levels.
- Detailoriented and analytical with a strong ability to identify gaps and drive actionable improvements.
- Resultsdriven with the ability to set goals prioritize and execute effectively.
