Job Description
We are currently looking for a dedicated IT professional specialized in cybersecurity to join our EMEA cybersecurity team. This role is crucial in safeguarding our companys assets and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. The position covers a variety of activities such as advisory design evaluation risk analysis incident response security tools management security review of projects and awareness. We are offering Remote / Hybrid work but it is suggested being located near Wroclaw Poland where we have our IT Hub located.

Job description
Reporting to IT EMEA IT Cyber Security Lead the IT Cybersecurity Junior Engineer will play a key role in our EMEA IT team. The role is based in Aliaxis EMEA IT Hub Wroclaw ul. Powstacw lskich 9 and may require 10 travelling across the region.
Role purpose:
- Provide advisory and guidelines on a broad range of subjects related to cybersecurity and privacy internal stakeholders
- Perform initial incident response for alerts coming from our Security Operations Centre (SOC)
- Lead policies define exceptions provide support and solve issues related to security tools such as web proxy endpoint detection and response Zero Trust Network Access solutions etc.
- Document processes procedures and howtos specific to cybersecurity operations
- Participate in managing the change process to highlight potential cybersecurity impacts
- Conduct analysis and security reviews to identify and mitigate risks
Key Accountabilities
- Understanding of Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards such as GDPR ISO 27001 and NIST.
- Excellent customer service strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and mitigate security threats.
Requirements
- 1 year in previous experience in a cybersecurity position or 5 years of experience in an IT position with a partial focus on cybersecurity
- An ITrelated degree is highly desirable (Technical or Bachelors degree in Computer Science IT Security or related field)
- Demonstrated expertise in 3 or more of the following disciplines / domains:
- Cybersecurity Operations
- Vulnerability Management
- Network Security
- Zero Trust Network Access
- Database Security
- Windows Servers Security
- Identity and Access Management
- Cloudbased technology (Azure and Microsoft 365
- Operational Technology and Industrial Control Systems
- Knowledge of Scripting and Automation: Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python PowerShell) to automate security tasks and improve efficiency is a plus
- Any professional cybersecurity certification is an asset. Example: Security CEH GISF Associate of (ISC)2 CISSP CISM
- Professional verbal and written communication skills in English any of following is a plus: French German Spanish Italian
- Selfdiscipline and engagement. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other departments.
- Solid attention to detail personal accountability and work ethic.
- Ability to make decisions based on previous practices and precedence.
