Job Description

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

In this position your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified leads for our inside and outside sales team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify and connect with prospects to generate new business opportunities
  • Contact and qualify potential customers via various communication channels (email phone LinkedIn video conferencing etc.
  • Foster leads through the sales pipeline by setting appointments and visits for the outside and/or inside sales teams
  • Followup with leads as determined by the team leader
  • Track all activity leading up to meeting
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop strategies for reaching targets
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) software to manage leads and track sales activities
  • Report on sales activities and results to team lead

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • To perform the duties of this job the employee is required to speak clearly and listen carefully
  • The employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time and type on keyboard.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Successful candidates will have a college degree or previous experience in Sales Development roles
  • Computer literacy skills with Salesforce or similar CRM experience a plus
  • Effective communication organizational and time management skills
  • Ability and willingness to follow instructions and directions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Articulate and fluent in the English language
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong understanding of the rules of composition and grammar
