The LNSU is in search of a PreSchool teacher to join our team. The Teacher is responsible for the academic socialemotional growth and development of all children in their care which may include children with special needs; develops partnerships with parents/childs caregivers to engage and encourage parent participation in the program. The Teacher is also responsible for assuring compliance with all State licensing regulations and other guidelines as set forth by the program; and works collegially with other staff members and outside agencies.Develops weekly plans and implements developmentally appropriate curriculum to nurture and stimulate alldomains of childrens development Perform ongoing developmental evaluations for children and develop lesson plans and follow curriculumimplementation that addresses the individual needs of each child On an ongoing basis plan evaluate and improve the physical environment in the classroom to createopportunities to meet the changing needs of the developing child Maintain ongoing open communication with parents/caregivers Liaison with childrens families to ensure smooth transition from home to school setting and transitions fromclassroom to classroom when needed Maintain accurate complete and timely child and program records; complete daily attendance records Report any suspicious of child abuse to supervisor AND child abuse hotline Assure a healthy safe clean and developmentally appropriate environment for children Complete annual performance evaluation Report all staffing and classroom concerns to supervisor in a timely manner Participate in ongoing development and evaluation of the Centers goals and objectives Perform other related duties as required or assigned Ensure children are supervised at all timesTraining in child development education teaching in or equivalent early childhood programs/elementaryprograms and evidence of successful experiences.
