EL1 Program Finance Officer

Approximate 12month contract Canberra Location $78.95 $88.31 per hour plus 11.5 superannuation NV1 clearance required

OVERVIEW

Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Program Finance Officer to join their team at the EL1 level. Within this role you will own and manage the financial reporting requirements of the Program.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • In conjunction with the Director Performance and Culture prepare Program Financial Reporting Program closure reports and other reports as requested.
  • Provide project liaison for scheduling and delivery assurance.
  • Liaise with the internal budget team to confirm funding requirements and reporting.
  • AUC Asset Management and Capitalisation (Financial)
  • Develop and implement finance reporting plans strategies and other deliverables.
  • Prepare finance reports and correspondence and report outcomes to Program/Project Boards.
  • Liaise with and provide advice and respond appropriately to stakeholders on matters that relate to program capital financial reporting requirements.
  • Develop and maintain collaborative and productive relationships with internal stakeholders including to assist with transition to BAU operations.
  • Perform other program management and finance related tasks as requested.
  • Capitalise assets associated with capital program administrative.
  • Financial budget management of the remaining SEP projects (projects A&H) to completion.
  • Own and manage the financial reporting and budgets for the Hardening the Diplomatic Network program.

EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS

  • Proficient in analysing and interpreting financial data to inform decisionmaking.
  • Experience in managing and delivering financerelated projects and programs.
  • Skilled in cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Proven track record in budget management and financial planning.
  • Expertise in preparing detailed financial reports and presentations.
