Job Summary:Food Service personnel are responsible to the Director of Food Service Building Administrator Food Service Field Supervisor and the Cook Manager. The Cook Assistant makes a School Meal Pattern lunch available to every school child; assists in preparing and serving nutritious food as required by participation in the federal program; and provides sanitary working conditions.

Salary:$20.24$24.65 Salary is based on the 2425 Food Service Salary Schedule (subject to change) salary placement is based on experience and longevity and will be determined by Human Resources.
Must be neat clean alert accurate and have the ability to communicate effectively with coworkers staff and students. Requires strong basic skills to accurately follow written instructions and utilize basic math calculations. Position requires stamina (standing long hours) and ability to consistently lift 30 pounds. Must be a good role model and enjoy working with children. Must have or obtain a Food Handlers permit. Specific qualifications are as follows:
