Toxicology General Supervisor (PartTime)
Lighthouse Lab Services is excited to represent a brand new reference laboratory in Las Vegas NV. We are searching for a toxicology General Supervisor who is looking to take a leadership role in building out a brand new toxicology reference laboratory!
This is a great opportunity for an experienced toxicology CLS that is looking for an opportunity to build out a lab from the ground up and step into a true lab management role to oversee the day to day operation and strategic growth of the company!
What we are offering:
Part Time hours initially then transition into a full time Day Shift Role
Hourly Rate: $35$40/hr initially for part time work then transition into salary $85000/yr Depending on Experience)

Position Overview:
Performs routine testing quality control calibration maintenance and proficiency testing in accordance with current laboratory procedures
Follow CLIA HIPAA OSHA and safety guidelines as described in their respective guidelines
Responsible for providing daytoday supervision of high complexity test performance
Must be onsite to provide direct supervision when high complexity testing is performed by any individuals
Responsible for monitoring test analyses and specimen examinations to ensure that acceptable levels of analytic performance are maintained.
Assuring that all remedial actions are taken whenever test systems deviate from the established performance specifications
Ensuring that patient test results are not reported until all corrective actions have been taken and the tests properly functioning
Providing training to all testing personnel
Annually evaluating and documenting the performance of all testing personnel
Perform other duties as directed
Preferred Candidate Profile:
B.S. in Biology Clinical Lab Science or related field
Qualify as testing personnel under CLIA guidelines and have at least 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
MLS(ASCP) or equivalent preferred
Nevada State CLS License required
Experience with Agilent 6460 and Indiko EIA analyzers preferred
Previous experience with toxicology sample prep
