Position: Mechanical Engineer
Location: San Diego CA

We have recently partnered with a locally owned and registered small business based in San Diego California. This firm was established in 2009 and offers expertise in Sustainability Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Plumbing Engineering Architectural Lighting Design Technology Design BIM Power Systems Protection and Energy. They are looking to add a Mechanical Engineer to their design team.
Job Summary:
The Mechanical Engineer position designs electrical systems for residential and commercial buildings.

You Have:
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field preferred
- 2 years of experience
- Licensed to drive in CA
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- PE or EIT isdesirable but not required
You Will:
- Develop and design HVAC plumbing and fire protection systems for building projects ensuring compliance with industry standards and local codes.
- Integrate energyefficient solutions into mechanical systems to optimize building performance and sustainability.
- Work closely with architects structural engineers and other team members to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with overall building design.
- Conduct engineering analysis and simulations to assess the performance and efficiency of mechanical systems making datadriven design decisions.
- Ensure that all mechanical systems adhere to relevant building codes regulations and safety standards.
- Create and review detailed engineering drawings specifications and documentation to communicate design intent to project stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans budgets and schedules. Monitor and manage project progress to meet established timelines.
- Implement quality control processes to verify the accuracy and integrity of mechanical engineering designs.
