Job description: Goldfish Swim School instructors build the confidence of young children by teaching them a critical life skill. Our team makes learning to swim fun while using a proven curriculum that gets results. Instructors typically teach for 35 hours per shift and are scheduled the same days each week to build a rapport with students that helps build progress. There are no late nights and our shifts are perfect for anyone wanting a predictable schedule that allows you to enjoy other activities!

- Teaches swim lessons to children using Goldfish Swim Schools proven awardwininng curriculum
- Coaches motivates and supports children who are learning to swim
- Provides continuous feedback to Deck Supervisors on swimmer progress and completes quarterly evaluations for students
- Uses problem solving/creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter.
- Develops positive relationships with swimmers and families
- Ensures swimmer safety at all times
- Sets up organizes and puts away lesson equipment
- Attends staff meetings trainings and inservices as scheduled
- Follows all Goldfish policies rules and regulations including emergency and safety procedures
- Must be at least 15 years old
- Ability to instruct swimming lessons 40 hours of paid training is provided.
- Knowledge of swim strokes
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong problemsolving skills
- Selfmotivated team player with the desire to continuously improve through positive feedback and coaching
- Available to work weekends
- Must pass background check
- Lifeguard certification is a plus (Goldfish certifies employees onsite and provides a $100 certification bonus.

Each Goldfish Swim School is an independently owned and operated franchise. The respective Franchisee is the employer at each Goldfish Swim School location.
