Our Valley Ortho clinic located in Aspen is looking for a Patient Service Specialist II to join our team!
This is a fulltime day shift position!
Responsibilitiesinclude
- Provides patients and physicians with professional and friendly reception duties.
- Organizes patient flow keeping physicians and patients on schedule.
- Maintains patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner.
- Screens office manager physician and nurse calls handling appropriately.
- Crosstrain in PCT/CNA/MA role.
- Performs all clinical duties per licensed health care provider or delegation of a registered nurse designated specifically by the clinic.
- Provides assistance to licensed health care providers and nursing staff for general patient assessments rooming patients procedures treatments filing/retrieving medical records and general office clerical duties.
- Performs patient care tasks following clinic standards of care as defined in policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Current BLS Certification through the American Heart Association preferred or obtained within 3 months of hire.
- Required to successfully completion of AssessmentBased Recognition (ABR) program in order entry for electronic health records (EHRs) within 30 days of hire or a current CO CNA License or current RMA/CMA Certification.
Skills:
- Clerical: typing filing scheduling computer phone and people skills
- Excellent customer service skills; strong computer skills
- Phlebotomy experience preferred.
- Laboratory and/or Xray experience preferred.
Experience:
- Two years in a reception or clerical field.

SALARY
- Entry salary dependent upon education skill set and experience.
- Wage range: $20.41 $30.02/hour
