THE JOB
CocaCola Amphitheater in Birmingham is seeking a Cleaning Supervisor to keep our venues showready and create an incredible fan experience. This position is responsible for performing cleaning duties throughout the outdoor concert venue and surrounding area by complying with todays safety and disinfection protocol and utilizing best practices. This is a parttime seasonal position.
WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO
Direct and supervise cleaning staff and other employees performing similar services as directed. Provide customer services by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints
On an ongoing basis lead and train staff to include assisting in staffing positions to ensure that all staff members are wellinformed on event specific details. Assist with managing breaks.
Assist management to ensure compliance with all venue policies and procedures to include all safety regulations
Keep the venue safe and clean at all times including but not limited to: clean and disinfect all fixtures floors mirrors doors and walls of restrooms; restock restroom paper materials and hygiene products as needed; keep all guest facing areas free of trash spills and debris
Ensure the venue is show ready before the fans arrive each night including but not limited to restrooms outdoor seating and lounge areas VIP areas and employee break spaces.
Stocking all necessary items before guests enter the venue
Ensure the site and outbuildings stay clean and stocked during events.
Keep work areas neat and orderly clean equipment and assist with other cleaning duties as assigned.
Show CARE by participating in venue recycling efforts before during and after the show.
Use a variety of hand and power tools cleaning supplies and material handling equipment in performing duties.
Communicate effectively with the Cleaning Manager to ensure all cleaning needs are addressed in a timely manner
Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
Responsible for maintaining a fun friendly and safe environment throughout the venue uphold venue policies and escalate concerns to appropriate members of the management team in a timely manner
Perform all other duties as assigned or needed
WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING
Background in cleaning preferred; general knowledge of cleaning supplies
Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong team player with ability to collaborate and establish strong working relationships with internal and external partners
Ability to multitask within a fastpaced environment
Position requires constant walking climbing stairs bending lifting and carrying 50 lbs. and
occasional sitting
