Job Description

We are a rapidly growing Bostonbased medical technology company using AI to enable clinicians to make informed decisions on cardiovascular care leading to better patient outcomes improved quality of care and reduced healthcare costs. Join us as a Clinical QA Specialist and play a crucial role in ensuring representation of a clinical perspective and that our medical device software meets the highest standards as part of our growing Clinical QA team. Youll design and execute innovative test strategies meticulously document defects and collaborate with toptier software development and SQA teams to resolve issues. Youll also craft comprehensive testing plans and protocols ensuring thorough reporting and compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices. Your work will uphold the integrity and reliability of our application making a significant impact on a potentially lifesaving product.

* While candidates in the Boston MA area are preferred we are accepting applications from candidates in the continental US with a strong preference for eastern time zones. *

Key Responsibilities:

Act as a quality advocate within agile/scrum teams to ensure standards as necessary throughout the software development lifecycle.
Develop and implement clinical test design strategies and procedures with Software Quality Assurance to verify clinical performance and correctness.
Utilize various software testing methodologies (scripted exploratory ad hoc etc. to identify the decision points in the software.
Maintain detailed records of testing processes results and quality assurance activities.
Identify and document defects inconsistencies and vulnerabilities.
Troubleshoot issues assess potential risks and develop mitigation strategies with Software Quality Development and Clinical teams.
Collaborate with the Regulatory team to ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
Provide feedback and recommendations for quality processes as well as product improvements based on test results and clinical needs.

Education and Qualifications:

Degree in Radiology Technology Computer Science Bioengineering Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.
2 years of clinical QA experience or software testing experience with a focus on clinical or healthcarerelated software.
Prior experience with functional testing.
Strong experience using Jira.
Prior experience collaborating with software development and software QA teams.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Adaptable with the ability to work in a fastpaced startup environment with evolving priorities.
Prior experience working with medical imaging (CTA) medical devices or in a regulated industry preferred.
Knowledge of cardiovascular disease and anatomy preferred.

At Elucid we believe the best work happens in a flexible hybrid environment. Bostonarea employees are encouraged to work from the office on Mondays and Wednesdays with the option to come in additional days if they prefer. Fully remote employees outside the Boston area come in as needed.
