Job Description

Pharmacist In Charge Contract with potential for full time hire

This is a Long Term Acute Care and Physical Rehab hospital that provides both in and outpatient care is seeking a Pharmacist / PIC to cover the pharmacy until a fulltime hire is made (candidate in this role will be consider for FT hire).

This excellent 30bed facility is located in New Braunfels TX and schedule is 8 am 4:30pm MF plus oncall after hours. There is some PRN support for on call. The pharmacist in this role will work alongside other pharmacists and 2 techs with remote services covering after hours. Facility utilizes Pyxis and no chemo is involved. This facility is joint commission certified for ventilator weaning and regularly has patients on ventilator and restricted antibiotics.

Must have TX license active and in good standing and IV certification and experience. Also required is solid work history great communication skills and record of stable employment. Pharmacists from all backgrounds are welcome; hospital experience is a big plus.
