Summary
We are looking for a Head of RF Equipment Engineering (f/m/d) for the RF Equipment Engineering department at the Ulm site as soon as possible.Your Tasks
Disciplinary and technical management of the HAYR organizational unit
Ensuring product development and the processing of development orders (including project studies) within the quality time and cost framework
Playing a key role in ensuring that the unit is oriented towards competence technology and growth and representing it within and outside the company
Participation in product planning and identification and promotion of technical innovations with a focus on new HENSOLDT products e.g. as part of R&T projects and with external cooperations
Participation in shaping the HENSOLDT module and technology strategy and implementation of corporate goals
Collaboration in the quotation process with corresponding calculations and quantity structures
Responsible for the preparation / definition of budget personnel and resource planning in coordination with the Head of Engineering
Monitoring adherence to plans and targets as well as initiating and implementing corrective measures in the event of deviations
Ensuring continuous improvement and increased efficiency e.g. through process optimization modularization and application of agile methods
Motivating and moderating employees ensuring the individual further development of employees identifying and promoting talent and setting an example of interdisciplinary and where applicable crosslocation collaboration
Your Profile
Degree in electrical engineering highfrequency engineering communications engineering physics or similar
Scientific qualification by means of a doctorate advantageous
Several years of management experience in a specialist / development department
Experience in the environment of R&T projects (acquisition implementation) and current overview of the international research landscape also interdisciplinary
Knowledge and skills in the field of components subcircuits and subsystems of highfrequency technology and electronics (analog and digital)
Strong ability to formulate and visualize scenarios and target images with a focus on technologies (semiconductors materials) for building blocks and development tools
Ability for strategic foresight with regard to technologies and their relevance in highfrequency technology
Ability to represent and argue technical issues in front of customers and in project organizations
Processoriented and structured way of working
Team player and role model: good communication skills and empathy
Business fluent in German and English
