What are we looking for
Otis is currently recruiting for a resident/ static site engineer to work on site for a high profile customer in central London. The main goal of this role is to to respond proactively and timely to breakdowns and achieve first time fix. The resident engineer will also carry out minor repairs to achieve continual lift operation and ensure communication is concise and succinct with your line manager the customer and internal departments.
As a Resident/ Static site engineer you will:
- Carry out proactive checks and adjustments on high usage lifts to ensure lift availability
- Ensure 100 maintenance completion on time every month
- Ensure trapin calls are attended within 15 minutes
- Assist Insurance inspector with the 6 monthly checks.
- Be a team Leader for support engineers
To be successful in this role you will:
- Be qualified to at least NVQ Level 3 JModule or equivalent
- Have substantial relevant industry experience as a Lift Engineer
- Otis equipment knowledge is highly advantageous
- A strong communicator with a proactive approach to working on site
- Great team player working with other engineers and site teams
- Be flexible to work different shift patterns 1 week 7am4pm; following week 4pm11pm)
