The Graphic Designer is responsible for creating visually compelling designs that enhance the universitys brand identity and effectively communicate key messages to prospective students faculty staff alumni and the broader community. This role supports various marketing and communication initiatives through innovative graphic design solutions across digital and print media.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce highquality graphics for digital and print materials including brochures social media graphics websites presentations and advertisements.
- Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop creative concepts that align with the universitys branding guidelines.
- Ensure consistency in visual identity across all university materials and platforms.
- Develop and refine brand assets including logos typography color palettes and templates.
- Assist in creating multimedia content including infographics animations and video graphics.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand design needs and create customized solutions.
- Stay current with design trends emerging technologies and best practices in higher education marketing.
- Coordinate with external vendors for printing and production ensuring highquality output.
Education
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Visual Arts Communications or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in graphic design preferably within higher education or a similar industry.
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds.
