You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailThe Operational Risk Program Lead is responsible for designing implementing and managing riskrelated programs and frameworks including those for new products and services Operational Risk Events (OREs) Risk & Control SelfAssessments (RCSAs) and other key initiatives. These programs are critical in ensuring the banks effective risk identification mitigation and compliance. This role requires a deep understanding of operational risk management regulatory requirements and the latest risk assessment technologies to protect the banks financial stability while supporting business growth.
The Operational Risk Program Lead makes significant decisions requiring discretion and independent judgment in managing risk programs focusing on strategic decisionmaking and supporting the banks operational objectives rather than overseeing employees or managing daily business operations.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
810 years of experience in operational risk management financial risk consulting or a related field within a large bank or financial institution.
Experience working with risk technology platforms and analytics tools (e.g. Archer ServiceNow Power BI).
Strong knowledge of banking regulations risk assessment methodologies and financial risk products.
Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities to assess complex risk exposures and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and risk compliance requirements with the ability to ensure alignment with evolving standards.
Proven leadership interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with senior management stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Project management experience in implementing risk frameworks and technologies ensuring seamless integration and .
