The Engineering Maintenance Tech investigates building systems and document operational data. Prepares recommendations for system improvements maintenance programs and evaluations. This work is performed under the general supervision of the Engineering Project Manager and under the technical oversight of engineers.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent. An AA degree is preferred.
Specific training in the area of expertise (engineering and/or maintenance discipline) is equivalent to 1 year of college; such training may be at a vocational or technical school college or apprenticeship sponsor organization.
Knowledge:
Basic current knowledge of two specialties listed below as well as the relevant local state federal and regulatory stipulations and codes.

Functional knowledge of computer applications (PC and networkbased) including Windows departmental email word processing database and excel; basic knowledge of project management presentation maintenance/work order processing and design/drawing.
Basic knowledge of commissioning.
Proficient written and verbal English communication skills on a college level.
Work Experience:
5 years related work experience.
Specialized system testing instrumentation as applicable to pertinent discipline.
Salary Range: MinimumCustSalaryMinper hour MaximumCustSalaryMaxper will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
