DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position you will undertake a range of technical tasks that involve supporting the creation of various highway and bridge plans as well as right-of-way plot plans and other related drawings. Your responsibilities will include utilizing Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) workstations along with traditional drafting methods which may occasionally involve inking details directly onto plans. You will be engaged in the development and preparation of highway and bridge plans or specific sections of these plans ensuring compliance with the Design Manual - Part 3 Pub. 408 Items Catalog and CADD Standards. This process will span from initial sketches to the production of comprehensive detailed working plans incorporating essential elements such as layouts and material specifications.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday - Friday with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:- An associate degree in surveying drafting designing civil or any other appropriate field of engineering technology.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
