About the Role

Beloved by owners and prospects alike Sactionals have transformed the furniture category.

As a Brand Director at Lovesac you will be responsible for developing our brand strategy and brand development that will drive profitable growth in both our core business and new product innovation. You will partner with teams crossfunctionally to develop category and portfolio strategy positioning and gotomarket plans in line with our brand vision leveraging customer insights market trends and data to drive the business forward.

This position is remote and will report into Lovesac Corporate HUB based in Stamford CT. Candidates must fully reside in the United States at all times during employment and should have the ability to travel as needed.

What Youll Do

  • Drive brand vision and strategy throughout the organization through strong team and crossfunctional leadership skills and the embodiment of our companys core values.
  • Develop brand category and portfolio strategy including positioning architecture USPs and jobstobedone to deliver against short medium and longterm business strategy
  • Lead the development of annual brand planning and business objectives informed by robust insights data and indepth business and competitive analyses.
  • Develop communication strategy and calendar and support crossfunctional teams in driving key brand communications across ecommerce retail touchpoints and paid advertising.
  • Build and deliver the Innovation pipeline for Sactionals from ideation through business case development through launch inclusive of tailored customer acquisition engine development in partnership with brand activation through to JTBD brief
  • Own longterm brand health and goal attainment through positioning messaging product strategy and roadmap development and ontime product launches that ensure inmarket product integrity.
  • Collaborate with Ecommerce and Showroom teams to ensure comprehensive and holistic understanding of the customer with appropriate prioritization of focus to maximize our ability to build value through the entire customer experience.
  • Continuously evaluate base business performance to inform short and longterm business strategies and plans to achieve planned goals.
  • Collaborate with consumer insights team to develop research plans that drive a deep understanding of our customer journey and purchase drivers and identify whitespace opportunities in our innovation roadmap.
  • Partner with key cross functional teams including Commercialization Consumer Insights Product Development and Production & Sourcing to drive new product innovations and initiatives through Lovesacs stage gate processes.
  • Be a student of pop culture staying close to current and future trends to support StealthTech Sactionals and Lovesac masterbrand relevance and excitement among our target consumers.
  • Meet or exceed all company goals and brand key performance indicators (KPIs) focusing on both financial and brand health metrics. Perform any other reasonable duties for this role as requested by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of related Brand Marketing work experience ideally within consumer goods/retail
  • Superior strategic thinking and planning
  • Ability to nurture and contribute to innovation and creative solutions; strong ability to inspire and build a mindset and culture of innovation within your team and beyond
  • Must have proven time management skills and quickly adapts to a changing business environment
  • Able to prioritize responsibilities with the appropriate level of urgency able to listen and can use this information to solve problems anticipate issues and make correct decisions based on a variety of situations
  • Excellent collaboration skills including a proven ability to communicate with various levels of leadership and employees within the organization
  • Maintains the highest level of customer service creating solutions and experiences that drive business results and engagement with the brand
  • Strong product acumen with working knowledge of innovative product development processes

  • Must be able to travel using various forms of transportation as required by the Company in its sole discretion for meetings and conferences held either at our offices or offsite (i.e. quarterly team connection weeks companywide meetings vendor visits).
