Job Description
Staff Management Group is seeking an Inventory Specialist for our client in Linden NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule:
- 1st Shift: 8:30AM 5PM
- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $17.25 / hour
Job Summary:
The Inventory Specialist is responsible for verifying the accuracy of orders and freight using scanning devices and other technical tools. This role involves tracking information maintaining accuracy and ensuring quality control during order processing.
Job Responsibilities:
- Check orders and freight for accuracy using a scanner and other technical tools.
- Verify and record tracking information to maintain accurate shipment data.
- Inspect items and compare with orders to ensure correct quantities and specifications.
- Report any discrepancies to the supervisor promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory checks and tracking logs.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve issues related to order accuracy.
- Follow safety protocols while performing quality checks.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual (English & Spanish)
- Techsavvy with the ability to use scanners and data tracking tools efficiently.
- Detailoriented with a strong focus on accuracy and quality.
- Basic math skills for verifying quantities and order details.
- Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Positive attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
