Nonmalignant hematology Section Leader opportunity at UNMC The Division of Hematology/Oncology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center UNMC in vibrant Omaha NE invites an ambitious and visionary Hematologist specializing in nonmalignant hematology clinical care and research to lead our thriving Section. We seek a dynamic collaborative academic leader with a track record of excellence in clinical practice research and mentorship to spearhead growth and innovation in this critical area. This leadership role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of nonmalignant hematology at UNMC . The Section is poised to grow to 46 faculty members in the coming years. As the Section Leader youll drive cuttingedge clinical care and transformative research while mentoring a multidisciplinary team committed to advancing patient outcomes. Through collaboration with our hospital partner Nebraska Medicine patients experience personalized care based on the latest scientific research. The successful candidate must be an MD/DO (or equivalent degree) who is board certified in medical oncology and/or hematology and possess a strong background in clinical and translational research. A devotion to clinical care and clinical investigation in nonmalignant hematology plus at least three years of experience is preferred. Interest and experience in teaching fellows residents and medical students is required. Required Qualifications
MD DO or MBBS degree board certification in Internal Medicine and be board certified/eligible in medical oncology and/or hematology.
