Job Description
Job Type: Contract (Corp to Corp/C2C or 1099
Job Location: Tallahassee FL (Fully Onsite)
Please note: This is a fully onsite role in Tallahassee Florida.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in strategic planning for the Informatica and Snowflake infrastructure environment and process.
- Administer the Informatica and Snowflake infrastructure environment and process.
- Analyze transactional data stores and develop data warehouse models to optimize the warehouse data stores for reporting and analytics.
- Prototype build and test extraction transformation and load (ETL or ELT) jobs.
- Prototype build and test data quality processes and related jobs.
- Ensure data warehouse metadata is collected and maintained.
- Prototype build and test Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Prototype build and test Tableau reports and dashboards.
- Coach and mentor peers in data warehousing concepts and the use of tools utilized to analyze data design warehouse models and populate the warehouse.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of methods and practices documentation.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Information Systems or other related field or equivalent work experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of IT work experience utilizing data management tools business intelligence tools and data warehousing.
- Extensive experience with Informatica PowerCenter and Snowflake is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
- Ability to model transactional data for data warehousing usage.
- Knowledge of and skill in Snowflake cloud data warehouse functionality.
- Extensive knowledge of and expert skill in the use of Informatica PowerCenter and Cloud functionality.
- Extensive knowledge of and expert skill in administration of Informatica and Snowflake.
- Knowledge of and skill in Informatica Data Quality and in Informatica Data Catalog functionality.
- Knowledge of and skill in Power BI and Tableau functionality.
- Knowledge of and skill in relational database platforms including DB2 SQL Server and Oracle.
