Job Description

An Event Sales Manager typically oversees the sales and coordination of events ensuring that everything runs smoothly from the initial inquiry to postevent followup. He/she is responsible for driving revenue through the sale and of events. This role involves understanding client needs building proposals managing contracts and ensuring events are successfully planned and executed according to the clients vision and business goals.Key Responsibilities:Sales & Client Relationship Management:Generate new business by identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients vendors and other stakeholders.Conduct site visits meetings and consultations with potential clients to understand their event needs.Prepare and present customized event proposals and packages.Negotiate contracts terms and prices to secure bookings.Event Planning & Coordination:Work closely with clients to determine the scope requirements and objectives of the event.Develop detailed event plans timelines and budgets.Collaborate with internal departments (catering audiovisual marketing etc. to ensure seamless event .Coordinate logistics including venue setup guest accommodations transportation and onsite staff.Budget & Financial Management:Develop and manage event budgets ensuring all costs are tracked and controlled.Ensure events stay within budget providing clients with costeffective solutions.Process billing invoices and payments according to event terms.Marketing & Promotion:Promote event services through advertising social media and other marketing strategies.Attend trade shows networking events and other industry gatherings to build brand visibility.OnSite Event Management:Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during the event.Supervise event setup and breakdown.Handle any onsite issues that may arise ensuring the event runs smoothly.PostEvent FollowUp:Conduct postevent evaluations with clients to gather feedback.Follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and explore opportunities for repeat business.
