Job Description
An Outstanding mixed school in Enfield requires a dedicated Science Teacher with a Chemistry specialism starting ASAP for a temporary fulltime position. The ideal Science Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 with a focus on Chemistry. We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher to join us immediately.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Science Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum focusing on Chemistry.
- Prepare students for upcoming assessments and examinations.
- Develop students scientific understanding and practical skills especially in Chemistry.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of science resources.
- Organise and lead chemistryrelated extracurricular activities.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Science with a focus on Chemistry.
- Proven experience in teaching science at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Availability to start ASAP.
