Job Description
Are you a passionate and energetic PE Teacher ready for your next challenge A highachieving secondary school in Wolverhampton is looking to appoint a dedicated PE Teacher to join their thriving department from April 2025. This is a fulltime permanent position open to both experienced teachers and ECTs.

About the PE Department
The PE department is wellresourced and offers a broad curriculum at KS3 KS4 and KS5. The school has excellent sports facilities including a modern sports hall fitness suite and extensive playing fields. The department runs a wide range of extracurricular activities and sports teams encouraging students of all abilities to participate and succeed.
About the Role
As a PE Teacher your responsibilities will include:
- Teaching PE across Key Stages 3 4 and 5
- Planning and delivering inclusive engaging and challenging lessons
- Supporting students physical and emotional wellbeing
- Contributing to curriculum development and wholeschool sporting events
- Taking an active role in extracurricular clubs and competitions
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues across the school
Experience and Qualifications
- A degree in PE or a related subject
- QTS or PGCE
- Experience teaching PE to KS3KS5
- ECTs are encouraged to apply
Salary
The salary for this PE Teacher role will be paid to scale MPS/UPS dependent on experience.
