About the Role
As SEO lead at Klingit you will play a key role in bridging strategy and acting as a trusted advisor to our clients while ensuring smooth delivery of all projects. Youll work closely with clients and internal Klingit teams adapting to evolving communication and marketing needs.
This role requires a combination of strategic thinking a commercial and entrepreneurial mindset and handson project management. Youll help clients define their goals and guide them in areas keyword strategies onsite optimisation and linkscheduling while at the same time help us create scale build and sell Klingits new SEO offering. Over time and with success you will be managing the SEO team at Klingit.
You will also be responsible for driving the internal SEO implementation and strategy at Klingit cross markets in close collaboration with Klingits marketing team.
You will report to Evelina Appelskog Head of Strategy content and branding.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the area lead for SEO and help Klingit define the offering towards new and existing clients.
- Drive sales and business development towards existing and new clients with SEO.
- Build an offering in relation to Klingits subscriptionbased business model and fit activities into the creditsbased division.
- Serve as a strategic partner to clients helping them develop SEO strategies and implementation plans including content plans onsite optimization and backlink schedules.
- Setting up processes for how to implement SEO on behalf of Klingits clients.
- Set up a delivery model for backlink purchases with a trusted external partner.
- Define a business model for the backlinks and negotiate with the selected supplier.
- Find ways to automate e.g. content production with generative AI.
- Set up standardised tracking for client progress in e.g. Lookr or other tracking software.
- Work closely with designers copywriters and other team members to align project with strategic goals.
- Drive Klingits internal SEO strategy including search terms backlink purchasing in close collaboration with the marketing team at Klingit
- Build a team of offshore/local resources that can support and scale our SEO delivery e.g. project managers technical experts etc.
- Support colleagues with subject matter expertise in SEO offering guidance and ensuring deliverables align with client expectations and Klingits standards.
- Develop strong client relationships by understanding their vision and ensuring our solutions help them achieve their goals.
- In close collaboration with Project Managers Management Sales and other stakeholders be part of defining and setting the interfaces needed between your role and SEO with other special competencies at Klingit. As this is a new offering a lot of processes internally around this will need to be setup and it will require good stakeholder management skills flexibility and being able to work in an environment with fast changes.
- Contribute to building Klingit as a company and play a key role in our growth journey.
What Were Looking For:
- 5 years of relevant experience managing SEO for clients in an agency or consultancy setting or equivalent.
- A solid understanding of SEO and development with the ability to connect strategic objectives to details.
- A proven track record of building strong client relationships business development and growing client portfolios.
- Experience in managing multiple projects and clients simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong knowledge of marketing in a wider sense ensuring consistency and efficiency across deliverables and in relation to other work streams.
- The ability to oversee and streamline workflows in order to scale the offering around SEO.
- Strong communication and presentation skills fluent in Swedish and English (both spoken and written).
- A team player and doer with high energy strong drive and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment.
