Are you an experienced Backend Developer with a passion for technology and sports This could be the role for you!
At Eeze Consulting were currently looking for a Backend Software Engineer for an innovative and rapidly growing tech company in the sports industry. They are developing a platform to Open Up Sports where users can share experiences forge new connections and create sustainable revenue opportunities for sports communities.
About the Role
Youll be a key member of the technology team helping create a seamless user experience across both web and mobile platforms. The team works in an agile environment with a focus on collaboration creative problemsolving and continuous improvement.
Were looking for someone with:
- At least 5 years of experience in serverside development
- A degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix environments
- Experience in database design and optimization (SQL and NoSQL)
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and websockets
- Expertise in software and user management security best practices
- Experience working with Git/GitHub for code reviews and CI/CD flows
Nice to have:
- Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Testdriven development (TDD) and unit testing
- User management and authentication expertise
- Streaming solutions (audio/video adaptive bitrate streaming)
- Experience with containerization and/or cloud technologies (e.g. AWS)
- Frontend or mobile development experience is a plus!
