Psychology and Sociology Teacher Outstanding School Surrey
An Outstanding Ofstedrated secondary school in Surrey is seeking a versatile and passionate educator to join their team as a Psychology and Sociology Teacher. This is a fulltime permanent position offering the unique opportunity to teach across two complementary social science disciplines at Key Stages 4 and 5. The school fosters critical thinking and encourages students to explore the complex interplay between individual minds and social structures.
Responsibilities:
The successful Psychology and Sociology Teacher will plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in both subjects drawing connections between the two disciplines. You will prepare students for success in GCSE and ALevel examinations developing their critical thinking analytical and research skills. Assessing student progress providing effective feedback and contributing to the curricula are key aspects of this Psychology and Sociology Teacher role.
Requirements:
Applicants must be a qualified Psychology and Sociology Teacher (QTS) with a degree in Psychology Sociology or a closely related field. Proven experience teaching both Psychology and Sociology at the secondary level (Key Stages 4 and 5 is essential. Strong subject knowledge in both disciplines excellent communication skills and effective classroom management are required. We are looking for an inspiring Psychology and Sociology Teacher.
