Job Description
Position Details:
- Shift: Day/Evening Shifts Open to 8 10 or 12hour shifts
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2000 $2240
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex laboratory procedures in all assigned areas of the lab.
- Collect process and analyze biological specimens in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment including calibration and quality control procedures.
- Report critical test results promptly and accurately to healthcare providers.
- Participate in proficiency testing and ensure compliance with CLIA CAP and other regulatory standards.
- Assist in training new personnel and students as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all performed procedures.
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors degree in Medical Technology Clinical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- License: Current New York State Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (REQUIRED).
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Travel & Local Considerations:
- Candidates outside a 60mile radius qualify for travel pay.
