Job Description

Lincoln Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our team in Lincoln United States. As a 5th Grade Math Teacher you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for mathematics in our middle school students.

  • Develop and implement engaging math lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
  • Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles
  • Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education
  • Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and learning abilities
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
  • Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Education or related field
  • Valid teaching license/certification for the state of Arkansas 
  • Strong mathematical knowledge and passion for teaching middle school math
  • Proven experience in classroom management and creating a positive learning environment
  • Proficiency in curriculum development and differentiated instruction techniques
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom
  • Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with or willingness to learn various educational software and tools
  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Patience and ability to work well with diverse student populations
  • Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
