Job Description
Lincoln Public Schools is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated 5th Grade Math Teacher to join our team in Lincoln United States. As a 5th Grade Math Teacher you will play a crucial role in shaping young minds and fostering a love for mathematics in our middle school students.
- Develop and implement engaging math lessons aligned with state standards and district curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking
- Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to accommodate different learning styles
- Assess student progress through regular evaluations and provide constructive feedback
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive educational experience
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding student progress and concerns
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in math education
- Adapt teaching strategies to meet individual student needs and learning abilities
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
- Contribute to the overall school community by participating in extracurricular activities and events
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching license/certification for the state of Arkansas
- Strong mathematical knowledge and passion for teaching middle school math
- Proven experience in classroom management and creating a positive learning environment
- Proficiency in curriculum development and differentiated instruction techniques
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to integrate technology effectively in the classroom
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking skills
- Experience with or willingness to learn various educational software and tools
- Understanding of child development and learning theories
- Patience and ability to work well with diverse student populations
- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth
