Job Description
Our Client is an international retailer with a presence across Europe recognized for its commitment to quality innovation and customer satisfaction. With over a century of operational excellence this organization is embarking on an exciting phase of expansion within the CEE region. They are now seeking a Senior Manager / Head of Leasing & Expansion to guide this strategic journey.

Key Responsibilities:
- Research the Market: Explore the real estate market across CEE to find new trends opportunities and potential challenges. Your goal will be to find the best spots for new stores especially in busy areas that attract our target customers.
- Pick the Right Sites: Once potential locations are identified assess them carefully. Look at how busy they are who shops there and if they fit our partners brand. Work with local teams to ensure having good options for where to open next.
- Negotiate Leases: Take charge of negotiating the lease terms for new store locations managing the full lifecycle from initial identification to final approval ensuring optimal terms and conditions.
- Understand the Global Market: Knowing how the CEE market compares to the rest of the world is important. This knowledge will help the company make better decisions and adjust our strategy to fit local needs.
- Analyze Finances: For every potential store location figure out if the investment makes sense. This means looking at costs potential sales and how long it will take to see a profit.
- Willingness to travel: This position will require frequent travel around Europe to assess potential sites and negotiate leases directly.
Were looking for someone who has:
- Experience in real estate especially in leasing or development with a focus on retail in the CEE region.
- A strong understanding of the CEE real estate market.
- The ability to analyze data and make detailed reports.
- Great at negotiating and communicating with different kinds of people.
- Able to think strategically and have a record of successful projects.
- Strong analytical skills complemented by proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with SAP.
- Native Romanian proficient in English with skills in German considered a bonus.
