Job Description

The PLT Stock Prep Team Lead will:

Responsible for machine related production items i.e. quality machine setup downtime (mechanical or electrical) and coordinating with Stock Prep Supervisor Sequencing MTE Process Engineering and Quality.

  1. Coordinate with various departments for major maintenance machine changes auxiliary equipment and component supplies and machine modifications.
  2. Coordinate with sequencing to ensure all machines are producing the correct materials to supply the customer.
  3. Ensure all machine checks are being completed by operators  5S QDAs etc.
  4. Coordinate with SRUs to ensure proper flow with containers (rejects b/os etc.
  5. Conduct Shiftly BT1 meetings to ensure proper communication to the shop floor.
  6. Audit rejects from customers and communicate with Sequencing if more is needed Scheduled. As well as address any operators associated with nonconforming materials reaching the customer.
  7. Coordinate with Stock Prep Supervisor to actually report daily issues any escalation topics etc.
  8. Monitor daily production of each machine in assigned area.  IE Breaker Cutters Ply Cutters Innerliner Lines etc.
  9. Maintain a safe working environment and housekeeping.
  10. Perform other duties as directed by Department Manager.
  11. Ensure all ESH procedures policies and legal requirements are implemented and monitored.

Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED and 2 years Stock Prep Experience
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job posting.
  • No relocation assistance is offered for this position

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous manufacturing experience or Associates Degree
  • 5 Years Stock Prep Experience
  • Leadership Experience

Enviroment

  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures/ guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing protection and steel toe shoes. 
  • New Hires will likely be placed on a shift that includes evenings and weekends. 
  • The job is within a nonclimate controlled environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold) forklift and pedestrian traffic and noise. Majority of work completed in a high heat environment.
  • The role involves various physical tasks including lifting bending stooping pushing pulling and operating machinery with comprehensive training provided.

The starting annual salary for this role is $68940 a year.
