South East Cornerstone Public School Division requires the service of a Coordinator of Student Services who will report directly to the Deputy Director of Education. Office location will be determined through consultation with the successful applicant and the Deputy Director of Education.

This is a continuing contract that will commence on August 1 2025.
Required Education Knowledge Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor of Education Degree from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education
- Saskatchewan Professional A Teaching Certificate
- Minimum of five 5 years successful teaching experience in special education or a related field
- School level administration experience would be an asset.
- Masters degree in education from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education is preferred
- Knowledge of Saskatchewan Core Curriculum and the Ministry of Education initiatives
- Knowledge of best practices in educational leadership
- Knowledge of trends and needs in the education of students with diverse needs and inclusive education.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers license
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to plan coordinate and present workshops to educators and support staff
- Ability to write reports requiring meaningful interpretations of data accuracy readability and editorial correctness
- Strong communication skills including superb writing content development skills strong presentation oratory and verbal skills with individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Compose a variety of documents and/or facilitate group discussions and solve practical problems
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people problem solving is required to analyze issues and create action plans
- Evidence of a high level of organizational skills with the ability to successfully manage and coordinate a number of projects and tasks while effectively managing time
- High level of critical and logical thinking analysis and/or reasoning to identify underlying principles reasons or facts.

- Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with all staff within the School Division with local and provincial organizations and with the local community

Supervision of Staff:
This position directly supervises the Registered Psychologists and Response to Intervention Coaches.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Without restricting the generality of this job description the Coordinator of Student Services shall perform such duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not restricted to the following:
- To consult with classroom teachers response to intervention coaches administrators and superintendents with regard to supporting the response to intervention model within the division.
- Coordinate the system supports for student learning within Response to Intervention (RTI).
- Assess existing programs or services and advocate or implement improvements to these programs and services as they pertain to a response to intervention
- In conjunction with the Deputy Director of Education prepare the student services annual operating budgets as it relates to student learning and Response to Intervention (RTI).
- In conjunction with the Deputy Director of Education and employee services prepare the annual staffing and human resources allocation processes as it relates to Response to Intervention (RTI).
- Provide leadership to the Interprofessional Collaborative Team
- To identify and provide leadership in planning and/or delivering professional development programs for schoolbased staff designed to support a model of response to intervention for all students including behavior assessment effective instruction and technology.
- To review literature and research as a means of identifying sources of improvement in the Division practices for diverse learning needs and to keep your supervisor and other school division personnel informed of trends and innovative developments.
- Attend meetings as required by the learning support team.
- Facilitate workgroups teams and meetings within a positive environment.
- Conduct oneself in a manner appropriate to an educational institution providing services to children.

- Be willing to engage in lifelong learning with respect to professional development training inservices and courses of study.
- Perform other duties as may be required or assigned by the Deputy Director of Education
- Be knowledgeable about and supportive of Administrative Procedures and directives
Salary & Benefits:
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.
