Job Description
Specialising in premium pet foods and accessories Absolute Pets is the leading pet retailer in South Africa with over 170 stores across the country.
Our team of experts is looking for an Aquatics Advisor who knows all things fish fish care and tank maintenance to join the Absolute Pets family at one of our growing stores in Johannesburg.
If you want to join our team these are a few of the key areas that you will need to be responsible for:
Aquatics Advisor KPAs:
1.Sales
Achieve sales & GP targets
Visual Merchandising and appearance to be in line with best retailers in South Africa
2.Stock
Aquarium maintenance
Minimize fish loss
Ensure fish are fed and wellcared for
Ensure correct fish orders are placed
Execute all admin duties fully and efficiently
Limit stock loss and shrinkage to below target levels
3.Staff
Development of fish care and maintenance training material.
Training of staff on fish care and maintenance.
Be a proud Brand Ambassador
Pursue own development and growth using the Individual Development plans (IDP)
Act in accordance with the Absolute Pets culture and Values.
4.Service
Provide world class service
Provide sound independent advice
