Job Description
An ABA company is looking for a skilled Medical Biller to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and office skills with experience in processing medical billing and ensuring accuracy in claims submission.
Responsibilities Include:
- Medical Billing & Claims Processing:
- Process and submit medical bills to insurance companies and patients.
- Ensure all claims are accurate and comply with relevant healthcare regulations.
- Documentation & Record Keeping:
- Maintain accurate billing records and update patient information as needed.
- Ensure proper documentation is kept for each claim for audit and compliance purposes.
- Customer Service & Communication:
- Communicate with insurance companies patients and healthcare providers to resolve billing issues.
- Provide timely responses to inquiries and follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Office Support:
- Assist with general office tasks as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Collaborate with other team members to manage office workflow.
Ideal Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar billing role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to handle customer inquiries.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage billing tasks efficiently.
- Familiarity with medical coding billing software and insurance regulations.
