Job Description
Your Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer (f/m/d) you are directly responsible for the current and future trading infrastructure. You design and implement low latency highly resilient infrastructure considering the full infrastructure stack and inline with development and the trading platform requirements. You report directly into the Head of Trading Infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture deployment and management of infrastructure systems including servers networks and storage.
- Design implement and maintain cloud and onpremise solutions to ensure scalability and availability.
- Participation in oncall and out of hours change management (compensated)
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing infrastructure to optimize performance security andresilience.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers fostering a culture of collaboration and technical excellence.
- Develop and document best practices standards and procedures for systems engineering and infrastructure management.
- Stay uptodate with industry trends recommending and implementing new technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Your Profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or other equivalent training.
- 7 years of experience in systems engineering with a focus on infrastructure (cloud and onpremise).
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS Azure or Google Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of networking virtualization storage and security principles.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting (e.g.Saltstack Terraform PowerShell Python).
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining highly available scalable infrastructure.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills with a passion for mentoring and collaborating with others.
