Job Description

As an experienced IT Application Support Specialist you will join our dynamic Managed Services team. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support troubleshooting and maintenance for a wide range of enterprise applications with a focus on payroll systems enterprise content management (ECM) platforms data visualization tools CRM applications and other specialised tools.

You will diagnose troubleshoot and resolve applicationrelated issues promptly ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Perform routine maintenance updates and patches on applications ensuring they remain secure and up to date. You will continuously monitor application performance identify areas for improvement and collaborate with internal teams to optimize functionality and ensure system reliability.

On a daily basis you will collaborate with other IT teams and departments to implement new systems or upgrades ensuring seamless integration and minimal downtime. Proactively offer support for a variety of specialised software including document management printer monitoring and management freight management print management and time and attendance tracking. Work with vendors to resolve system issues and bugs and log businessrequested system enhancements.

Qualifications :

  • Proven experience as an IT Application Support Specialist or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise applications particularly payroll systems ECM platforms data visualization tools and CRM applications.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to perform routine maintenance updates and patches on various applications.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external vendors.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical issues to nontechnical users.
  • Good organisation skills to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology Computer Science or equivalent experience

Good to have:

  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider
  • Strong knowledge of ITIL framework
  • Familiarity with Servicenow or similar IT service management software
  • Experience in supporting the following software
    • Remote printer monitoring and management solution (e.g. FMAudit)
    • Managing multifunctional devices in an enterprise environment
    • Warehouse freight management platform (e.g. MachShip)
    • Print management software (e.g. Papercut) 
    • Time and attendance management system (e.g. Mitrefinch)
