Job Description

Role Overview:

At Santen Pharmaceutical we envision a future where employees effectively utilize data and technology to make datadriven decisions and actively leverage technologies such as Generative AI (GenAI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to achieve efficient and highquality work. We are seeking a leader to join our Digital Innovation team to drive and lead Organization Change Management (OCM) initiatives including the adoption of key capabilities such as GenAI Data & Analytics and RPA as well as other digital technologies. This role will focus on transforming not only our headquarters but also our branches worldwide. The scope of technologies is not limited to these three; it may expand to include new digital technologies that the company deems necessary to implement in the future.
This role involves collaborating closely with leaders of each capability to define the vision and strategy for organizational transformation ensuring these capabilities are integrated and utilized effectively throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Vision and Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with capability leaders to define the vision strategy goals and KPIs for OCM related to GenAI Data & Analytics and RPA.
    • Create and promote a comprehensive roadmap to achieve the defined goals.
  2. Key Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work with capability leaders and IT business partners to identify key stakeholders in various departments and build strong relationships.
    • Work with capability leaders to share the future vision strategy and goals for key capabilities like GenAI Data & Analytics and RPA with key stakeholders. Ensure they understand the value spark their interest gain their buyin and foster a sense of ownership.
    • Understand the needs and insights of each department and execute OCM strategies tailored to them.
  3. of Roadmap and OCM Strategy:
    • Collaborate with capability leaders to assess the current state and identify target segments for GenAI Data & Analytics and RPA and determine their insights.
    • Develop and implement communication strategies training programs and channel strategies tailored to the needs and insights of target segments.
    • Track the progress of adoption (e.g. Adoption Ladder) for each target segment and adjust tactics and approaches as needed (PDCA cycle).
  4. External Collaboration and Best Practices:
    • Stay updated on the latest information regarding GenAI RPA and Data & Analytics and collect best practices case studies and use cases from other companies to share internally.
    • Obtain support from service providers as needed to deliver highquality information and training within the organization.
  5. Cultural Promotion and Enhancement:
    • Create mechanisms to foster a culture that encourages trying new things enjoying trial and error and promoting healthy competition.
    • Establish opportunities for shared learning within the organization and disseminate best practices.

Qualifications :

  • Preferred Experience:
    • Experience leading OCM initiatives for digital transformation in a pharmaceutical company.
    • Experience leading projects involving GenAI Data & Analytics and RPA.
    • At least 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Skills:
    • Businesslevel proficiency in both Japanese and English (required).
    • Basic Knowledge in Data & Analytics GenAI and/or RPA
    • Strong strategic thinking and visionsetting capabilities.
    • Excellent stakeholder management and relationshipbuilding skills.
    • Ability to identify target segments understand insights and develop and execute marketing approaches.
    • Project management skills to flexibly adjust approaches while executing the PDCA cycle to achieve goals.
    • Proficiency in developing and executing training and communication strategies.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
