Job Description:
On behalf of our client we are looking for a Tier II Service Desk Deskside support
Job Responsibilities:
Install and manage desktop and laptop operating systems including and up to Windows 10 Professional and Apple OS Catalina.
Install upgrade and maintain application software for all USGS equipment in accordance with SOPs.
Create and maintain baseline computer images in accordance with policy and SOPs.
Provide end user technical assistance at the desktop on hardware and software for the USGS user community.
Configure test and install new PCs and laptops printers scanners networked copier/printers Smartphones other mobile devices etc.
Support iOS devices (iPhone iPad) Android devices
Replace and/or repair computer and peripherals components as required per SOPs.
Install upgrade and maintain operating system and application software for all USGS equipment in accordance with SOPs.
Provide end user technical assistance and consultation on desktop and laptop hardware and software.
Assist and support the printing needs of users including changing paper/ink/toner/drum and performing maintenance on printers and largeformat plotters.
Job Requirements:
Public trust Clearance.
Requires a bachelors degree or at least four years related experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Expert knowledge of Windows operating systems Windows 7 up to Windows 10.
Strong working knowledge of mobile devices and services associated with Apple iPads iPhones and Android.
Thorough knowledge of Windows 10 operating systems
Strong understanding and relationship of desktop environment with networking security and server environment.
