Sunseeker Resort Charlotte Harbor is currently searching for Lead Guest Room Attendants!
The Guest Room Attendant Lead plays an essential role in ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness comfort and order. As a team lead this role supports guest room attendants by providing guidance conducting quality checks and facilitating effective communication between team members and managers. The Guest Room Attendant Lead will also help coordinate daily tasks foster a positive work environment and uphold quality standards.
All duties are performed in accordance with department and Sunseeker Resorts policies practices and procedures.
Job Duties
- Assist the leadership team and coordinators with daily housekeeping operations and assigning tasks to housekeeping attendants and house persons based on occupancy and priorities.
- Provide onthejob training mentoring and constructive feedback to housekeeping team members promoting adherence to quality and efficiency standards based on room inspections.
- Act as a role model in demonstrating professionalism service quality and commitment to cleanliness.
- Conduct full inspections of guest rooms hallways and public areas to ensure rooms meet resort cleanliness standards.
- Address issues related to cleanliness maintenance or guest requests by coordinating with housekeeping and other departments as needed.
- Document and report any quality issues damaged items or maintenance needs ensuring timely resolution and reporting any needs through the proper channels.
- Collaborate with the Housekeeping leaders to optimize room cleaning schedules streamline processes and maintain operational efficiency.
- Assist with housekeeping inventory by monitoring supply usage and coordinating with the leader to prevent shortages.
- Communicate effectively with other departments such as Maintenance and Front Office to resolve roomrelated issues promptly and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Uphold a guestfirst approach by ensuring that rooms are prepared to meet or exceed expectations and promptly responding to any special requests.
- Foster a positive teamoriented work environment and support attendants in delivering exceptional service.
- Ensure all housekeeping team members follow health safety and sanitation standards as well as resort policies.
- Support and promote the resorts sustainability practices by encouraging environmentally responsible housekeeping habits.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Sunseeker Resorts performs criminal background checks on all candidates. Candidates will need to be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. - High School Diploma GED or equivalent
- Minimum of one 1 year experience in a supervisory role.
- Minimum of two 2 years housekeeping experience in a resort/hotel setting.
- Experience with Forbes Star AAA and Four Diamond standard a plus.
Other Minimum Requirements
- Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Ability to stand walk bend and lift up to 25 lbs as needed for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fastpaced environment especially during highoccupancy periods.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to motivate and support team members.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster team collaboration and guest satisfaction.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to function well under pressure manage multiple priorities and meet established deadlines
- Must possess mature personal discretion and sound judgment
- Strong leadership abilities sound judgment superior problem solving and decisionmaking skills
- Excellent organizational analytical and project management skills with particular attention to quality and detail
