Job Description

On any given day the average person will usually prepare 3 meals straighten up their house either by vacuuming or doing dishes remind themselves about taking their meds and do their own personal hygiene.You probably did at least half of those things already today and didnt think much about it. Why not get paid for doing those exact same tasks for someone elseSome people cant do those things for themselves and thats where you come in. You know how to do these things and since you have the skills why not be a caregiver

Its a rewarding job with a flexible schedule great for those who have a busy family life or are wanting to take on another job. So caregiving is a great career but why should you choose Preferred Care at Home

  • Above average pay average pay is $12/hr but WE think that is just WAY too low so we start you out at $15. If you worked fulltime thats an extra $480 a month than our competitors even if we started you out on our minimum of $15.
  • If you have friends who also want to become caregivers we pay YOU for recommending US. We dont just say thanks and throw in a high five. Thats lame. We give you $125 for every referral. Our competitors just dont do that. Which is also lame.
  • Some agencies make you pay out of pocket for the gas you use to run errands for your client. Doctors appointments grocery shopping and even picking up medication. NOT OKAY. We offer mileage reimbursement because it just makes sense.
  • A lot of agencies dont offer medical assistance for employees. We get it that used to be us. But thats what our caregivers were wanting so thats what we offer now. Wellness Programs paid 100 by us.
  • The number 1 complaint we hear from caregivers is how their last agency was so disorganized:
    • Not paying them the amount they had earned
    • Scheduling them with the wrong client or at the wrong time
    • Never answering the phone
      • We heard those complaints and made sure our caregivers never experienced those issues with us. We have an office staff that is second to none and will make sure you feel seen and recognized everyday with us.
