Job Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Business Analyst for an exciting contract opportunity! The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in gathering analyzing and documenting business requirements with a focus on commercerelated projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commerce proficiency in Agile delivery methodologies and be wellversed in JIRA. Additionally experience with specific commerce platforms such as Shopify VTEX SAP Commerce or Spryker would be highly beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements ensuring a deep understanding of project objectives and goals.
- Documentation: Create deliver and maintain a variety of documentation including but not limited to use cases user stories process workflows screen and interface designs mockups functional/business requirements documentation and project plans.
- Agile Methodology: Apply Agile delivery methodologies to facilitate the iterative development process. Work closely with crossfunctional teams to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and tasks.
- JIRA: Utilize JIRA for efficient issue tracking task management and project documentation. Maintain JIRA boards and ensure accurate representation of project progress.
- Quality Assurance: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases based on documented requirements. Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that project deliverables meet established standards.
Requirements
Required Skills:
- Commerce Experience: Demonstrated experience in commercerelated projects is essential. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of ecommerce concepts and workflows.
- Agile Delivery Methodology: Proficiency in Agile methodologies with a proven track record of successfully applying Agile principles to drive project success.
- JIRA: Strong knowledge and experience using JIRA for issue tracking task management and project documentation.
- Documentation Skills: Ability to create and maintain comprehensive documentation including use cases user stories process workflows screen/interface designs mockups functional/business requirements documentation and project plans.
- Delivery Experience with Commerce Platforms: Experience working with one or more of the following commerce platforms is a plus:
Qualifications:
- Postsecondary degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst with a successful track record of gathering and documenting requirements for complex projects.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing highquality deliverables.
