Human Resources Representative
Clampco Products Wadsworth OH is seeking an exceptional HR Representative to work with an experienced collaborative HR team in our manufacturing environment!
This role includes coordinating processes such as temp to hire and hourly direct hires facilitate orientation assist employees with inquiries plan Company events assist with training and development activities and attend local community functions.
This position requires a high standard of professionalism and a gregarious personality. The HR Representative will typically spend 20 of the workweek in the production workflow assisting employees regarding human resourcesrelated inquiries. The position reports to the department manager.
What can you Expect
The HR Representative position has daily interaction among all employees. The given role will be exposed to sensitive personnel data therefore respect for privacy and confidentiality is absolute. The selected individual will work alongside experienced HR personnel who will provide the tools for success at Clampco.
You will be expected to attend educational & professional workshops participate in Company teams such as ESOP and Safety attend observe and interact in meetings to help develop Clampcos culture. This role will provide you with the opportunity to help others through effective and open communication adding value to a great environment.
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelors degree in HR or Business discipline or equivalent with 1 years HR experience is required. A coop or internship will be considered.
2 or more years of navigating Office software is highly desired; less experience with proven knowledge will be considered.
Able to handle high level of confidentiality regarding employee information and following the golden rule is absolute.
Functions:
Acts as a liaison for employee questions regarding payroll benefits or other related Human Resource related inquiries; elevates complex issues to appropriate HR SME.
Coordinates interviews with candidates for production staff and supports the direct hire process. Schedules and coordinates preboarding onboarding and offboarding activities for temptohires. Coordinates hourly new hire activities including introduction orientation and training plans
Utilizes software to generate building access badges LMS training setup for temporary workforce new hires and conducts the reverse for terminations
Attends and supports local business community endeavors such as job fairs manufacturing awareness local SHRM and Economic Development meetings
Scans documents into cloud base repository
Coordinates Company employee luncheons retirements holiday banquets and recognition events
Prepare monthly anniversaries & birthday cards and recognition certificates for employees
Performs various HR administrative tasks as directed to include project assistance

Work Environment:
Monday Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. onsite with some flexibility
Must be able to attend offshift meetings & recognition events
Must be able to attend offsite community events recruitment fairs and Company functions that may occur on weekends
Office position with use of general office equipment
Ability to walk navigate stairs use PPE and follow all safety standards
Lift up to 20# with or without accommodation
May assist other departments with general office functions when needed
Travel is negligible; must attend workshops and symposiums relevant to the position and organization needs as an ESOP.
