Position Title: Facilities Maintenance
Supervisor: Facilities Manager
Employee Status: Yearround full time / salary
Location: Inperson Shelburne VT
Time Commitment: Typical 5 and half days including oncall and weekends and holidays
Salary Range: $30000 $35000 (Job includes onsite housing at no additional cost)

Who Were Looking for
Someone who is excited by the opportunity to support and maintaining a large complex campus.
With guidance from the facility manager and as part of the Buildings & Landscape team youll perform diversified duties to improve repair protect and maintain campus facilities and equipment.
What Youll Do
Work closely in assisting the Facilities Manager and Buildings and Landscape team with 24/7 maintenance and emergency services support of the farms facilities and operations including:
Buildings repairs and maintenance:
Monitoring and maintaining building safety and fire protection systems
Plumbing systems including seasonal opening and closing of the Inn and other facilities
Electrical and mechanical systems including heating and cooling systems
Potable water and wastewater systems
Events setup and breakdown and parking
Janitorial services
Garbage recycling and compost chore systems
Operations improvements to supportclimate action plan
Snow plowing shoveling and road sanding
Accident prevention and safety support for guests residents and staff
Meter readings
Core QualificationsAll candidates must meet these qualifications to be considered for the position)
Relevant education and/or work experience in mechanical electrical plumbing H.V.AC. and building trades
Able to work independently as needed
Valid drivers license that meets the minimum requirements:
No more than one atfault accident two minor moving violations or two nonmoving violations within the past year AND
Zero major moving violations within the past three years (examples: driving with suspended/invalid license DUI reckless driving). No more than two major moving violations in the past 10 years
Computer and internet proficiency to include Google Drive and Gmail
Able to work longer weeks during peak demand periods and flexible to work evenings weekends holidays
Additional Valued QualificationsHelpful for success in this role but not required to apply)
Certifications:Certifications such as a Journeyman Plumber Electrical or HVAC License are helpful but not required for this role.
