Job Description
Resideo is currently seeking a RF engineer to design security intrusion system and smart homes wireless products. The wireless includes WIFI BLE LTE Zwave Zigbee Sub GHz wireless etc. You should have solid RF design experience be able to design debug RF system and collaborate with team members.
JOB DUTIES:
- Be responsible for RF design including system RF requirements analysis specification definition circuit simulation and tuning schematic design and PCB Layout antenna design and simulation ensuring the designs are completed within the set timeframe.
- Be responsible for testing and troubleshooting of RF circuits and subsystems optimizing RF TX and RX performance antenna matching and optimization.
- Support systemlevel performance validation and RF performance improvement.
- Support Product FCC/CE/PTCRB certification.
- Supportthe manufacture activitiesfor RF test solutionand test limits in mass production.
- Continuously to drive new wireless technology and key challenges to help NPI team to delivery more competitive products.
YOU MUST HAVE:
- 3 years of direct experience in RF circuits design
WE VALUE:
- Indepth knowledge of RF technology principles including transmission line impedance matching RF transmitters and receivers RF front end wireless communication modulation and demodulation techniques.
- Practical RF design experience withone or more of the following radio technologies: WiFi/Bluetooth/Zigbee/SubGhz Radio/cellular communication system 2G/3G/4G/5G).
- Proficient in RF design and debugging skills capable of independently conducting circuit design debugging and optimization.
- Practical experience in antenna design and optimization familiar with antenna matching and antenna performance testing.
- Proficient in using RF Test equipment such as spectrum analyzers network analyzers and signal generators.
- Good experience in EMC design and Noise Desense debug.
- Experiencewith FCC/CE/PTCRB agency.
- Experience with wireless coexistence schemes is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills able to collaborate within a team to optimize product performance.
- Ability to work under pressure and ensure project completion on schedule.
