As part of a selfdirected site support team The Desktop Support Technician will perform level 2 troubleshooting functions for help desk issues involving IT equipment on the customers desktop. You will ensure the assistance is prompt friendly and effective. You will perform principal support functions to customers for Microsoft Office products and networkbased applications such as email calendar groupware electronic forms etc. This position performs analysis and implementation of microcomputerrelated projects and microcomputer portions of larger projects.

Exceptional Skills and Qualifications

Applicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting have excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward problemsolving.

  • Associate degree in information technology preferred.
  • Associate degree with three 3 years in customer service strongly preferred or two 2 years experience with technology hardware software and/or support and training position with High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Knowledge of technology and software in use at Community Health Network is preferred.
  • Understanding of how devices participate in a network.
  • This position will participate in an oncall rotation amongst the team.
  • This position will require support of any Community Health Network site of care within the major support region and will require local travel.
