As the Business Systems Analyst you will have an opportunity to be involved in all phases of the Agile Software Development Life Cycle including research analysis definition assessment testing health checks and documentation of detailed business and system design requirements (functional operational transitional informational and nonfunctional) for new systems and system enhancements. You will also identify any gaps within current capabilities. To join our team the incumbent must be proactive and dynamic demonstrate initiative have an eagerness to learn be adaptable to a highpaced environment and thrive on challenges. Experience with mortgage products is desirable.


Is this role right for you In this role you will:

  • Analyze and develop technical requirements based on solution documentation.

  • Ensure the integrity of business and technical requirements in the endtoend customer journey.

  • Drive joint application design solutioning sessions with our architecture development and security architecture teams that inform highlevel estimates for large and mediumsized incoming initiatives.

  • Facilitate requirements gathering and design sessions with multiple stakeholders to extract requirements and turn them into use cases user stories sequence diagrams cheat sheets etc. whatever is suitable to meet development and stakeholder needs.

  • Create refine and maintain the product backlog and associated deliverables; release backlog with forecasted delivery timelines.

  • Bridge the gap between business and IT ensuring common understanding and IT/business alignment of both functional (for business needs) and nonfunctional requirements (such as reporting performance interfaces and constraints).

  • Help improve and drive our engineering practices by providing valuable inputs and suggestions on what works well and what can be done better and by using data to state your case.

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment by sharing information and cooperating with the team.

  • Demonstrate strong personal values and a commitment to our mission and customers.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role Wed love to work with you if you have:

  • Experience: You have 6 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Product Owner in a challenging IT system solution environment. You are also an agile and lean evangelist.

  • Experience in real estate lending or mortgages is an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge and skills in working with building APIs and Microservices at scale.

  • Deep knowledge of agile principles and project management methodologies with the ability to manage concurrent projects.

  • The ability to independently resolve complex multifaceted issues to meet the business needs of our clients.

  • Engineering background: Ideally you have an Engineering or Computer Science degree and pride yourself on analysis logical thinking and problemsolving skills.

  • Selfmotivated: You do good work and lots of it; the drive to deliver quality work is just a part of you. You are also able to simplify complex situations and navigate ambiguity.

  • Communicator/negotiator: You are great at making sure everyones speaking the same language and are on the same page and sometimes that involves some give and take.

  • Lifelong learner: You stay current on the tools and approaches that work best. You are excited about working on new projects because every project is a new learning opportunity.

  • Team player: You enjoy collaborating with learning from and teaching others so we all become better.
