The Executive Director is responsible for directing the daytoday functions of the facility in accordance with current federal state and local standards guidelines and regulations that govern Assisted Living Facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always provided to guests.

Responsibilities

  • Plan develop organize implement evaluate and direct the facilitys programs policies and activities.
  • Prepare an annual operating budget for approval by the governing board review and interpret monthly financial statements and keep abreast of the economic status of the facility.
  • Consult with department directors concerning the operation of their departments to assist in eliminating/correcting problem areas and/or improvement of services or competence of work force.
  • Attend and participate in workshops seminars etc. to represent the facility in dealings with outside agencies and to keep abreast of current data affecting nursing facilities.
  • Ensure thorough investigations are conducted and reported to appropriate personnel/agencies for misconduct and counsel/discipline personnel as necessary.
  • Participate in state/federal surveys of the facility assist in developing plans of correction for cited deficiencies and ensure such deficiencies do not recur.
  • Maintain a good public relations program that serves the best interest of the facility and community alike.
  • Oversee training for the facility and guide department directors in the topic selection planning conducting and scheduling of training classes onthejob training and orientation programs.

Qualifications

High School Diploma
4 year degree and/or meet WAC Regulatory requirements.
Must demonstrate a minimum of two 2 years experience as a licensed Assisted Living facility Administrator.

Benefits

Pay $120000K to $130000K/Year DOE
